Stocking Associate
Job Description
Unpacking and stocking incoming merchandise on shelves and in designated storage areas.
Verifying and organizing inventory, ensuring accurate counts and proper labeling.
Performing regular inventory checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Maintaining a clean and orderly stockroom, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Assisting with the preparation of orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly picked and packed.
Collaborating with other team members to support overall warehouse operations.
Reporting any issues related to stock quality or discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in stocking, inventory management, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Basic math skills for counting and inventory purposes.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
